[ oh awkward, he's gonna move right past that actually. ]
I was hoping you could actually help me build something, Hung. I was kind of thinking like a temple? So that there's a space for offerings and stuff for them, too. Little things we think they'd might like as we keep getting more shops in Oceanside and stuff like that.
...I think we can all kind of agree they're out there somewhere, right? The newspaper sort of made that obvious. I don't know where they are or how to reach them, but maybe with some sort of specific checkpoint we can try.
[ yeah he regrets opening his mouth before phrasing that better, so, onwards. ]
I have... a lot of extra wood from various Ox dorm happenings. [ looks into the void ] And can repurpose stuff from Tarkea to better suit what we need. I can probably get stuff from the craft stores to also weather-purpose it, although...
[ has. has the weather changed much since we got here??? besides the fuckin moon???? ]
Maybe just something to protect and secure stuff...
I remember. [ he's trying not to smile. also that's actually why he thought of hung in the first place. ] We can see what's available and work from there. You probably have more experience with the actual building part than I do.
[ between his bed not being the right size for him, the desk being cramped, ace breaking his bed, rita exploding her room...
they have a lot of materials. ]
It's not hard, but if you can show me some temples you're thinking of I can definitely reference them and build it up. And we could maybe do something as a message to the dead..? I want to try writing this week but maybe some kind of sign on our side could get a message across to.
Oh, yes. I can probably find some samples online or in the library, it doesn't have to be fancy as long as it's sturdy for them. I like the idea of a message to them. I've been trying to figure out a way to get any of my original abilities back at all to try summoning one of them, but so far no luck. A physical message of some kind on display might be faster.
[ just pulling a copy of the paper out of his pocket and reading: ]
"I've always wondered why the heroes have so much money. Isn't it odd that they're rolling in dough? Who pays them? I think it would be a good idea for heroes to donate some of that cash for the downtrodden people of the city in need of some extra moolah! You know! We deserve some bailouts too after everything that happened, don't you think? - Mr. Cold Feet
Dear Mr. Cold Feet: does it meowtter where the money comes from as long as you have money? Nope. Tried asking at the dorms? If you sit outside the door every day for 7 days you could get lucky."
Sound like anybody we know? [ he sounds like he'd rather die than do another cat pun ever again. ]
The one was definitely from Hans, so... yeah. It's possible. [...] I guess that means they're okay somewhere, but. Where, and... how, I guess, because they died. Are they ghosts?
