I don't know how easily, uh, human? Nail polish will take to my nails... [ looking down at his clawish nails thoughtfully. ] But I'm game to try, anyways.
[ and he's got his shoes off because he's from dystopia urban fantasy-esque hong kong so his paw feet are out. looks down at his actual 100% dog claws on them. ]
The joke here is that I know they make polish for pets.
You could probably do multiple coats to get it to stick? And if that doesn't work we'll send anybody but Reigen to the pet store to see what we can find. [ that is not something to joke about, and yet. ]
Hmm...before you say anything, I'm only suggesting it because our camp shirts are orange and black. [ "hung's claws are black" regardless. ] But a yellow might work, too, for a gradient? I found a book in the art store that was showing some examples.
Sure! I'm game for anything, honestly, especially since it's not something I really do. I work with too much machinery and equipment back home so it'd all get chipped off before too long. [ presents paw ] Camp shirts, huh? You and Will go there?
If Reigen's Amazoom order has some sponges or stamps we can try something. It might be too bright but whatever, that's what polish remover's for. [ takes paw! he will start with the orange base at least. ]
We live there, technically. It's our training camp and usually people only spend the summers there, but there're some of us that stay year round for whatever reason. Maybe we don't get along with our mortal parent, or home is too far away, or we don't have anyplace else to go. Stuff like that. Will's mom is touring soon so he's staying with me. [ he does not bother clarifying why he himself stays year round. ] But yeah, the camp shirts are orange usually except for mine. I think it's always been that way.

I think that might work. Might help with doing any fun colors, too, with layering it like that.

Yeah, exactly. What colors would you want most? We could probably come up with something cool. [ fun new project, new distraction. ]

What looks good with orange, orange, and more orange? [ looks at himself and laughs ] Blues? Reds? With my nails being black already, it could work.
